Keys!

I'm now several hundred pounds down on the day and the proud possessor of two sets of keys to a slightly grubby but still very nice flat. I spent this evening lugging stuff from Greenock to Glasgow and up several flights of stairs. If I accumulate any more books I'm going to have movers do it next time.

I hate packing, though. Too often it has been an exit from a bad situation and now, even though it's a time of growth and renewal, the old stress reactions get me. I'm glad I have friends and family to help.

This I know. But Marigolds? Dear oh dear. Anyone would think I have to protect my delicate skin or something.

Seriously, I'm really looking forward to moving in. That part, I like.
