High Heels Aren't Compulsory

I don't know that I'm going to put many comments up about the books that I've read, but here's the latest two -

The Demon and the City by Liz Williams; sequel to Snake Agent, I enjoyed this book immensely

Gloriana, or, The Unfulfilled Queen by Michael Moorcock; easy to read and sometimes very funny, with similarities to the Gormenghast books. I found the mannered prose and dialogue style to be less successful than Jack Vance's.

I'll do this challenge thing, since I was so disgusted at my lack of reading new books last year.
