I just got unofficial word that I passed my MSc degree. I'll graduate some time in November.

That's my third degree, this one's in Waste Management and Environmental Management, done on the dole, in order to retrain into something with more demand than applied physics. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Hooray for the Welfare State!

Oh, what, having a full-time consultant's job on the strength of the degree isn't enough?

I suppose I'll just have to write a novel or so and a few short stories. I have a long weekend starting this evening, I'll get right to it ... Tomorrow.

Tonight, I'm going to drink some beers, watch some videos, have a whisky or so and sleep for a long time. In the morning afternoon I'll take my notebook and pen to a coffee shop and watch people while I think about what to write.

Lol, well, yes, I have to agree with you that I'd probably rather have books on a shelf than more letters after my name. Hope inspiration strikes! *g*
